We went into Nashville to check out some things. First was a visit to Music Row. We walked a few blocks in the area where there are a number of music studios and talent agencies. It was interesting to see these places, but I was somewhat disappointed as I expected something different.
From here we headed back up to the Honky Tonk Highway. We found a place to drop the car and walked to a nice park above the Cumberland River. We were just across the river from Nissan Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Titans.
Next we visited Mecca for the umpteenth time on this trip--B B King's Blues Club in this instance. We had a nice lunch and I got some decent pictures. I'm looking forward to seeing his original club, located on Beale St in Memphis.
After this, we took a nice leisurely stroll on the Highway. We stopped at Tootsies for a beer (maybe bourbon) and to
listen to a nice three piece band. We hung out for a while, as we found the music quite nice.
We ended up back at the park to relax on a bench and just watch the river for a bit. We ended up speaking to a couple visiting Nashville from Iowa. As it turns out (and as Weber says), old folks are kinda friendly.
That ended our visit to Nashville. I'm sure I could spend weeks in this town just walking around and listening to great music. I found it interesting that all of the bands' earnings come solely from tips. There is no cover charge to enter of these clubs (some quite elaborate), as I assure you the bar tabs get to be quite large.
On the way back to trailer land, we saw beautiful, pink clouds, lit by the setting sun.
This morning we left Nashville for Memphis. About 215 miles later, we are here. We didn't do much today, except set up sit awhile to read and relax and take a little bike ride around the campground and immediate neighborhood. Weber did take the available opportunity to wash some towels in the campground's laundry facility. This is a pretty darn nice state park in the southern part of Memphis (T O Fuller State Park).

Nashville sounds so cool & I bet Memphis will be so cool, too! You're going to Sun Studio, right?
