ANOTHER RACE

I ran another 5K yesterday morning with Brad. I was worried that it would be raining, as we have had a slow-moving storm camped over the state for a few days and rain was in the forecast. Fortunately, it did not rain. That's fortunate, because we froze without the rain. It was friggin' cold! But we ran the race--The Grace Race, sponsored by Ascension Lutheran Church in North Ogden--and had a good time. Brad did well, beating me by less than a minute. My problem: I followed him at the beginning instead of running my race. He started out fast and immediately beat me up. We had a bet on this one--loser buys the pizza of the winner's choice, including Maeve and Weber in on the dinner. Oh well, it's only a pizza, but I shouldn't have lost. I'll get him next time. Congrats to my son.
