A Day At Sundance Resort

A couple of weeks ago, Rich and I spent a day at the Sundance Resort with some friends. Rich and the girls spent the morning skiing. Not being a skier, I spent the morning in the lodge drinking coffee and reading a book.

The Friends: Lisa S., Lisa K, Rich, Jocelyn, Weber

We all hooked for lunch at The Owl. After lunch, Rich and I headed up the the Nordic area for some snowshoeing. It was absolutely beautiful. The trails were well marked and wound through the aspen trees. It was soft powdery snow and amazing scenery. Plus, Rich and I were the only people on the trail.

Later in the afternoon, we all met for pre-dinner drinks. We lucked out and got the table in front of the fireplace at the Owl Bar. The entire resort is very rustic and low-key. After having a few drinks, we headed off to a really good dinner and a Sundance film (Bhutto - not so good)

It was a very memorable day and a great mid-week break from work.
